wow college is wonderful!!
haha the dorms are nice too, made some friends and the homeworks not bad, hard-ish but not bad C:
it..feels like home..
I don't miss where i use to live.. sad no?

anyway, why my title for this journal is "do u believe in god?" was because of what happened yesterday
I went to purchase the rest of the books i need for classes with my korean friend Jinny, and we decided to go to Walgreens afterward. So.. we took a couple buses and finally got there to the Grand Avenue mall (walgreens is in the mall). haha it was the funniest thing, I had a bag with my books in it so i couldn't go in Walgreens, so i waited for Jinny outside. I looked around at all the people walking around & saw one of those huge stands with those little machines u put quarters in and get candy. I was like Ooo skittles. haha. so i wen up to get some skittles, put my quarters in and out of nowhere, this lady and two others walk up to me and ask me if im around here. I honestly thought they were gonna ask for directions, but i told them no, i don't know where anything is around here. So they ask me:
"okay.. so.. let's say you where going to die today, not of course that u will, where do u think you would go?"
me: O__O "hrm.. um no one will really no for sure, i mean i-"
"what's you name?"
"whitney.."
"Well whitney, we want you to go to heaven, so if u believe in god, and say this prayer, blah blah blah"
she got out a paper with prayer and tried to force me to read it with her. "god thank you for giving me whitney, plz help her become healthy.." and more nice things like that
it was rly awkward. haha i kept questioning them. Like when they asked "the bible says if you ask god to come into your life and pray then you can be allowed to enter into heaven-" i'd ask if there was proof. xD they paused and kept going on about the bible and i told them, "isn't that manmade?" then there wa another pause & they kept going on about hoe god told man to write it and such. Ok, sure, but no matter what oyu ay or tell me, we can establish the bible was written by MAN's hands. I've told them many time's im not a religious person, im agnositc so i don't acknowledge that there is or isn't a god. And that works for me.
They were all praying for me nd used my name an stuff.. it was awkward but i respect the fact they believe so much ..and that their beliefs are so strong.
then my friend Jinny was done shopping and told them to go away lol.
She's Catholic so that was interesting too.
Religion is a subject i could have so much fun talking about. Never-ending controversial subject.
hrm.
But yes, All i was doing was getting some skittles then bam haha
But above all else, everything is wonderful..
Yesterday i found out how to use my little fridge's temperature
lol small accomplishment, but i thought that was rly cool.Hrm.. what else, i got to take Yoga Classes for the first time, geez i felt like i could do anything after that. i felt amazing! no pain, nothing!.. i had pure joy the entire day ^__^.. but the yoga isn't rly my thing..hrm. maybe a few classes later..idk C:
My College made us take self-defense classes
IT WAS AMAZING! i felt like i was in Mulan lol. Um.. I painted a huge mural outside of the College with all the other freshman, tour a tour of the historic part of the city, made HUGE sand sculpture at the Beach at the Sand Sculpture Competition. lol my group made a HUGE Bhudda..with it's butt showing. they called it a wardrobe malfunction xD And we won an award too. Funniest sand Sculpture or something haha, so such fun. MHM.
The City's amazing too. I love all the busy ppl, the sound at night, seagulls everywhere, just everything. i love the city.
I went down to this pier a couple blocks by the school and wow. It was beautiful.. so peaceful..
The sad thing is that i don't know how to use half of the tools and pen, ink, and everything else i bought. But i guess that's all more stuff to learn, fun ^_^.
Oh and my friend Jinny is also teaching me Korean!! i was so excited when i found out we were put in the same suite! lol, i watched Korean Dramas for along time and tried to learn. I know much more now lol talking over Ramen and Bus rides. And my neighbors are very friendly. That's another thing, everyone here is just so... welcoming.. no joke. even the upperclassmen are so friendly and wanting to help.. It's so incredibly different from where i use to be. The atmosphere is.. just too good.

OH! i just remembered something, xD My friends and I got lost taking a couple buses to a Recreation Center my college gets to use from another college. Some wanted to use the pool there, i just wanted to play everyone in Badminton. They had Badminton Courts!! so obviously i wanted to check them out xD I'd say it took us a little more than 2 hrs to find it. When we got there, it was closed. Also it was raining. so that was fun xD Least now we know
Oreintation week was so much fun.. (last week) and this week was my first actual week of schooling. Pus I'm learning how to use Macs!! My college is full of them an they're so cool lol i hope to get my Laptop b4 the year is up, yay! can't wait cuz everything has to be typed -____-.....so wow that was rly long
